Join The Drawing Project this coming Thursday evening!
The MIA and The Drawing Project invite you to share endless inspiration through a community-drawing activity in collaboration with artists Shannon Brunette and Lynda Monick-Isenberg. Taking inspiration locally from St. Anthony Falls and globally from the work of Leonardo da Vinci, we’ll explore hydroelectricity in all its facets. Thinking about water as a source of power (physically, culturally, and metaphorically), we’ll create studies of water movement using collaborative drawing and individual studies.
Free and open to the public.
Feel free to bring your own sketchbook and materials; paper and colored pencils will be provided.
Special thanks to our partner artist Aaron Marx for his contributions to this upcoming drawing salon
and his commitment to The Drawing Project.
