What do we know about the insects and animals that live among us? The Drawing Project is offering a drop-in drawing workshop for young and old, curious or experienced drawers to get close to the wild. We will play with drawing and our imaginations as we investigate all sorts of creatures found in the park. Yes, you can touch!
The Silverwood Park Field Trip is free and open to the public daily from 11:00am to 5:00pm and features Crafty Planet, Silverwood and local artists are teaming up for a day of art making, music, creative play and an outdoor art fair. Shop for Minnesota-made crafts at the No-Coast Craft-o-Rama, enjoy concerts by the Roe Family Singers and Reina del Cid and see new sculpture and poetry installations along the trail. Enjoy art activities, nature exploration, the giant parachute and lawn games.
