Pop Up Drawing Challenge

July 25, 2015 @ 11:00 pm

Join The Drawing Project this coming Saturday, July 25th from 11am to noon. We will be visiting the The Floating Library at Silverwood Park for a POP UP DRAWING CHALLENGE! Rent a boat, grab some transportable drawing materials and we will visit the Floating Library for inspiration. Come dressed for the climate with sunscreen and bug repellent as desired.

Have you ever drawn on one of the 10,000 lakes? With paddles? While visiting a library?

Free and open to the public.

Please bring your sketchbooks and pencils!

Floating Library is free and open to the public on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 5:00pm. Only the weekends of July 18/19 and July 25/26, 2015. Follow the libary here.

The Silverwood Park is free and open to the public daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm and features the work of local artists through gallery exhibitions and public artworks.

Boat Rental is $5.00 for 30-minutes, first come first served.

Thank you to the staff at Silverwood Park for hosting the Floating Library and to the team of librarians and library creator, Sarah Peters, for being out on the water.

Do not fail, as you go on, to draw something every day, for no matter how little it is, it will be well worth while, and it will do you a world of good.
